For a COO or operations lead

Find where work gets stuck, then fix that workflow.

Where do jobs, requests or decisions wait for someone to act?

Missing information, unclear handovers and unowned next actions make everyday work harder than it should be. I help you trace one workflow, see where it stalls and identify what needs to change.

Where I start

We follow a real piece of work through the business: how it arrives, what information is needed, who acts and what happens before it is done. That shows where details go missing and where work sits waiting. At Accent, the review covered repair quotes, coordinator capacity, purchase orders and contract renewals. My earlier trades work connected enquiries, quotes, bookings and follow-up for Empire Home Solutions, ICY Solutions and Current Electrical.

The decisions you may be facing

Hand-offs
Where does work wait between people or systems?
Systems
Can this work with the software we already pay for?
Capacity
Can we stop copying information and chasing the same details?
What I’ve seen

One HVAC business I worked with didn’t need more leads. It needed to stop letting repair work die between the engineer and the quote.

Your questions

Will we have to replace our software?
Not necessarily. I look at what you already use first, and check what it supports before suggesting any change.
Can we start with one workflow?
Yes. A good first project is one workflow your team can test, such as collecting enquiry details or chasing quotes.
Who runs it afterwards?
Someone in your business, agreed before work starts. Any ongoing support is agreed and priced up front.

Start with one workflow.

Bring one piece of work that waited too long, and show me how it moved. I’ll tell you whether I can help and what a sensible first step looks like.
